Chapter 4 -MUSCULAR

Personality Traits:

♦ Forceful, stubborn, blunt, short on tact and not inhibited, loves to argue; argues last thing at night --first thing in the morning.

♦   Usually has difficulty in expressing love. Is honest and very suspicious. Takes a long time to build trust. Is organised “PERIOD”.

♦   Loves to work. Enjoys strenuous exercise. Thrives on recognition. A backslapper and crushing handshake type.

They must work to satisfy their nature; they don’t understand play and play does not understand them. 

Physical Needs:

♦ PRACTICAL! Dresses conservative (charcoal grey, brown, black) no need

  for other colours.

♦ Home must be a good solid house. Well built, one that will last for a

  lifetime. Would buy for less money because he/she can fix it up and

  save a buck. Not to interested in decor, but is neat, tidy and organised.

♦ Furniture will be firm, hard and serviceable.

Financial Outlook:

♦  Has $ signs in their eyes “JOE BARGAIN”. Start out high so you can come down. Loves to bargain and win. Will always have money because they are thrifty. Pays cash -- credit cards cost money.

♦   Counts money last thing at night -- first thing in the morning because they are afraid someone will take it.

Musculars have deep pockets, they are the last to reach into their pocket to pay for dinner or lunch when they are with others; they don’t know what credit cards are because using them costs money.

When they buy a property, they buy a fixer upper and then they can work on it and improve it.

Food Habits:

♦ Basic, practical energy food: meat and potatoes type food, and lots of it.   

  Doesn’t like his diet changed

. ♦ Meals on time! Eight/noon/six o’clock.

 ♦ Eats at very practical restaurants. Wants lots of food for his $.

Must eat at bargain prices and shop groceries where they can get the best bargains; they count their money at night and then again in the morning to see if anyone took it any night while everyone was sleeping.

Health Results:

♦Muscular will not admit pain. Fear of growing old.

♦ Most common ailments are arthritis, rheumatism, high blood pressure

  and circulation problems.

Musculars also don’t talk about emotional pain and so they end up having a heart attack or stroke and they do so rather than changing.

Marriage Partners:

A Muscular needs to marry a Muscular so they can argue and get along.

Musculars call arguing cooing its part of their love play and other contours cannot put up with all the arguing

Chapter 3 -THORACIC

Personality Traits:

♦ When positive is very smooth and tactful.

♦When negative can be arrogant and conceited.

♦Promotes everything, starts everything but may have difficulty in completing things, afraid to close.

♦Very thin skinned (easily hurt). Do not embarrass them publicly -- although they laugh it off, comfortable communications will be difficult in the future.

♦Although “variety is the spice of life” the Thoracic has difficulty remembering, that “monotony brings home the groceries”.

♦ Optimistic and willing to take risk. Get bored easily.

The Thoracic can sell all day and dance all night; when a Thoracic is negative, he will be smooth and more like a con artist and when he is in his element, he is a great promoter, but does not bring home the sale because he does not close the deal.

Thoracics make long lists of things to do but never get it done; they get distracted and are poor organisers. Thoracics are nice, not bad to be with, and when they are home there mind is everywhere else; they are super creative idea people and very impatient; they can be very tactful and sensitive; they can smooth things over and be empathetic which in many situation will appear to be non-involved; the female can wrap others around her finger so to speak.

Thoracics take their mobiles to bed with them but commitments are difficult to get and they will usually be 10 to 15 minutes early for meetings to make sure they don’t miss anything.

Physical Needs:

♦ VARIETY! The Thoracic is a clothes horse -- large wardrobe of very trendy styles. Wears clothes well. Style is very important.

♦ Impeccably dressed, clear co-ordinated right down to their underwear. Enjoys a variety in activities. 

♦ Home will be furnished with either the latest design or antiques, and continually re-arrange furniture. 

♦ Love to own toys -- cars are of the latest design. They usually drive cars that have “four or five on the floor”.

Thoracics often lean toward one or the other extreme, so you may find very quite elaborate tastes in furnishings, more extreme than any of the other contours; and they take their flashlight to bed to be ready to go ay any moment.

They often get up and do their bathroom tasks (sss) too fast and dress without totally drying their body and so they are still wet when they leave the house.

Financial Outlook:

♦Always involved in some promotion or deal. 

♦Money no object, to keep up with the in-crowd. Spends to excess, short on cash and savings. A master with credit cards. 

♦ Loves to be sold -- also easily unsold. Finds it difficult to make decisions. Changes their mind often.

They are always hooked into one deal or another; they operate at PMA (Positive Mental Attitude) with OPM (Other People’s Money). They are not afraid of bankers, they come into a bank look at the manager, if he is Osseous they leave and look for another bank where the manager is Thoracic; then they get the loan they need and credit card, oh yes credit cards… Thoracics have 5 MCs and 7 Visas and several AmEx cards and the like; and on ,many occasions they will use one card to pay off the other. We could call them Joe and Mary Plastic, whereas the Muscular does not know credit cards exist.

They drive a sports car with 5 on the floor and usually are seen in all the IN places; we can see them in the gym with the latest in apparel as if in a fashion competition.

Food Habit:

♦ Eats on the run -- stands up for breakfast because they usually go to bed late and get up late. 

♦ Does not matter what they eat but must be seen at all the “In Spots”. 

♦ Atmosphere important.

Whereas the Abdominal needs the treatment of fine China, the Thoracic is happy to drink from a paper cup as long as it is fast and he can run again. Fast food with atmosphere is their moto.

Health Results:

♦Great fear of getting old, good physical health important. The body beautiful is essential, therefore the plastic surgeon’s friend. 

♦ Health fanatic -- jogging and the latest in sports activities with designer outfit to go with each. 

♦Suffer from nervous fatigue -- needs only few hours to re-charge.

Thoracics are always on the ‘Go’; they keep going and going and going and when its enough they crash for 2 days to recuperate; they are the nuts, berries and bark people; they live with pills, suntan processes, the latest sports; the men are afraid to lose their sex drive and the woman are afraid of wrinkles.

Thoracis love people but need time to get away and be alone.

Marriage Partner:

Least compatible with cerebral or osseous.

Chapter 2 -ABDOMINAL

Personality Traits:

v  Easy going, life of the party.

v  Gregarious but shy, always has time for a joke, avoids all exertion; both mentally and physically.

v  Most honest and trustworthy of all personality types.

v  Burdened by the plight of others. They are highly creative and imaginative;

Physical needs:

♦LUXURY! Dresses extremely well when they have money -- very sloppy or poorly dressed when they don’t have money.

♦ Luxurious, no maintenance home.

♦ Will not fix anything -- including cars.

♦ Large, plush furnishings.

♦ Will drive a Cadillac, or Lincoln Continental; large luxury car

♦ Loves to be seen and acknowledged.

When an Abdominal comes into your shop, you better pay attention to him and help him make a decision with elegance. An Abdominal tends to shy away from decisions or put off a decision as long as he can. Their word is their bond and they will dress extremely well even if they cannot afford it. They are told to wear clothes that make them look thin, like stripes, but they end up wearing clothes that are loud and make a statement, like pink, lavender or polka dots and checks.

If their car, which is more likely to be a big boat on the road, breaks down, an Abdominal will drop the keys on the desk of the repair shop and take a grander car to continue on. An Abdominal’s lawn will look like a green cement lawn – in other words, the perfect look that everyone talks about.

Financial Outlook:

Above average income. Create and attract money opportunities with and through other personality types.Has a tendency to overspend.

An Abdominal needs someone to manage money for them, as they will spend more time creating more money and cannot be bothered with small-minded accounting matters. 

Food Habits:

♦Loves (exists) to dine (Patronises only the very best restaurants).

♦Enjoys rich highly seasoned food.

♦Loves to cook.

♦Always ready to eat.

What they will cook is unique creations, no meals… they will eat rich and spicy foods and end up with health problems as referred to below –they love to shop and when sitting down for dinner, they very deliberately spend time on ordering and re-creating the restaurant’s or chef’s menu s earlier mentioned. Then when the food arrives, they sit down and consider the dining experience.

Health Results:

♦Indigestion.

♦Does not like pain, dentist, needles or knives.

♦Stomach, liver and kidney problems.

♦High blood pressure.

This high blood pressure is off course the result of all their “dining experiences” during which they do not pay attention to what they eat and that is why they get sick. 

Marriage Partner:

v  Capable of getting along with most types.

v  Least congenial with Cerebral or another Abdominal.

Abdominals if married with a Cerebral will end up being too sympathetic; and if with another Abdominal, they will try to out-power each other. In a later chapter we will discuss the various mixes of the five contours, where we will learn that a Muscular is often the underlying contour covered up by the Abdominal contour; and when an Abdominal marries a Muscular covered over with an Abdominal, and the Muscular tries to exercise power, the Abdominal will power up and remain in control.

CHAPTER 1 : Description of All Five Forms and The Basic Physical traits

ABDOMINAL  (the far left of the image)

The round fleshy people; fleshy hands and round fingers, shorter than one might expect; short fleshy feet; round fleshy head and cherubic cheeks; soft fine hair if wash it disappears; round sloping shoulders; low round belly; no buns.  In one words “round and fleshy” 

THORACIC (the second from the left)

The Beautiful people; diamond shaped head wide at the temples with well proportioned jaw; the shoulders are straight across and broad; v-shaped upper torso which is in equal proportion to the legs; hands also equal length of fingers and palm. The female Thoracic has the curves all in the right place; In one word “beautiful perfection” 

MUSCULAR 

The practical people; square head and jaw, shoulders are straight across but different than Thoracic and immediately over the hips; they have a thick chest, both men and women alike; short and think hands and fingers that look like they were cut off; the legs look like hydrants on the men and like pool table legs on the woman and they were pants to cover them up; In simple explanation “thick and square”

OSSEOUS

The tall bony people; long arms and long legs; out of proportion with the torso; thus whenever such an individual buys a suit off the rack, his arms and legs will stick out; adam’s apple provide an easy reference to reading an Osseous; one very distinguishing mark to recognise an Osseous tendency is a protruding dam’s apple (for women and men alike; in a simplified description “long and out of proportion” 

CEREBRAL

Almost a small Thoaracic they hold high and proud their triangular head and stand tall with a small body; their shoulders slope more than Abdominals and they have a fairly thin chest cavity, more like concave; the back of the head protrudes because of their high level of intelligence

– genius like; their hands a like a small Thoracic’s hands with equal proportions between palm and fingers. In a simplified description - “thin and small”
